Farewell to Sabrina
After 8 years, Sabrina has decided to move on and pursue her social Work degree.
It is with both sadness and pride that we bid farewell to Sabrina Yates, a beloved and invaluable member of the Victoria Disability Resource Centre (VDRC) team.
Sabrina joined the VDRC in 2017, beginning her journey with us by issuing Accessible Parking Placards. Not long after, she transitioned to the role of Peer Support Coordinator, where her compassionate nature truly shone. For the past several years, Sabrina has been one of our Information & Referral Coordinators, skillfully assisting countless individuals in navigating the resources and services available to them.
Her dedication to her work and her incredible ability to connect with others have earned her countless positive comments from the people she worked with. Sabrina has always gone above and beyond to ensure that those who reached out to the VDRC felt supported, informed, and empowered.
While we will deeply miss her presence, we are thrilled to see her taking this next step to pursue full-time education in Social
Work—a field to which she is exceptionally well-suited. Sabrina’s unwavering empathy, kindness, and commitment to helping others will no doubt make her a phenomenal Social Worker.
