A coding program for women with disabilities.
The VDRC is proud to be involved in the organization of this event.
CodeAbled was a fun and FREE 3-week course where people explored the basics of coding in the popular Python programming language.
This was a great course for participants to learn the skills and mindset needed to write code, prepare for more programming courses. No previous coding experience was required!
This program was for self-identified women, ages 19 – 25, with self-declared disabilities. It was open to trans-feminine, non-binary, two-spirited, and genderqueer individuals who felt a women’s coding group was the best fit for them.
