Financial Planning for Children with Disabilities is an Underused Support
There are nearly 200,000 children with a disability in Canada, many of whom are unable to live independently without the proper financial support. The good news is that a number of government programs help ensure the financial security of these individuals. The bad news is that these programs can be difficult to navigate, and as a result, Canadian financial planners inadvertently fail to secure nearly $18-million in potential savings every year.
