Young Stroke Survivors Group
The Stroke Recover Association of BC is pleased to announce the Young Stroke Survivors Group!
If you identify as a stroke survivor they have a new Young Stroke Survivor Group starting up! They don’t have an ‘age’ per se but often issues that affect someone in their 20s, 30s, 40s and 50s can be different than someone in their later years. They want to address your concerns around things such as:
• Getting back to work
• Intimacy and relationships
• Managing emotional distress
• Parenting dynamics have changed
• Health concerns (speech and mobility solutions)
And MORE!
If this sounds like you please join them on Feb 28th, at Infocus Employment Services Building, 721 Kings Road (between Douglas and Blanchard St.).
