Legal Help Services:
- Summary Advice Program: Free initial legal advice for low- and modest-income individuals.

- Representation in Courts & Tribunals: Volunteer lawyers can provide representation tailored to client needs.
- Family Law Services: Assistance on family law matters.
- Poverty Law Services: Support with legal issues tied to low-income circumstances.
- Online & Unbundled Legal Services: Flexible options including online help and limited-scope services.
Programs & Specialized Support:

- Solicitors’ Program: Free legal help for charities and non-profit organizations with matters like incorporation, contracts and leases.
- Roster Program: Matches clients with volunteer lawyers for more involved legal support.
Who can get help:
- All BC residents, especially low- and modest-income individuals who meet APB’s financial eligibility and cannot access government legal aid.
- Charities and non-profit organizations of limited means.
Advocacy, information & referrals:
APB also offers self-help legal resources and connections to other free or low-cost legal services across BC.
